Our commitment
Rogue Physical Therapy Inc. ("Rogue", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website roguept.ca, why we collect it, how we use it, and what your rights are. We operate under the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where applicable, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What this policy covers
This policy covers the website roguept.ca. It does not cover the personal or health information that you provide when you book an appointment through Jane App or when you receive care at the clinic. Those interactions are governed by the Jane privacy policy and by the clinical records rules that apply to our practice.
Information we collect through the website
The only place on the website where we actively collect information from you is the contact form. Through it we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- The content of your message
We use this information to reply to your request and to help you get in touch with the right person on our team. We do not use it for marketing.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party pixels on this website. The website may use small technical cookies that are needed to make it function (for example, remembering your preferences on the current page). If we ever add analytics or similar tools, we will update this policy and give you a way to opt out.
Maps and other embedded content
Our Contact page includes a map. To respect your privacy, the map does not load from Google until you click on it. When you do click, Google may collect information about your visit under Google's own privacy policy.
Bookings through Jane App
When you click a "Book Now" button, you leave our website and are taken to Jane App, our booking partner. Any information you enter there is handled by Jane under Jane's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We recommend reading Jane's policy directly on their site before you book.
Clinical and health information
Any information about your health, injury history, treatment goals, and progress is collected during your appointment or through Jane's intake forms, not through this website. That information is protected under the professional and record-keeping rules that apply to physiotherapy in British Columbia, and it is not part of this Privacy Policy.
How we store your information
Contact-form messages are stored on the server that hosts this website and are visible only to the small number of people at Rogue who reply to them. The website is hosted on servers in the European Union (Germany, Hetzner Online GmbH, Nuremberg), operated on our behalf by pineapple.pink OÜ (Estonia). Access is restricted through personal accounts and is used only for the purpose of replying to your message.
How long we keep your information
We keep contact-form messages for as long as we need them to answer your request and to keep a short record for follow-up. After that we delete them (typical retention: [RETENTION PERIOD, Jeremy sets, e.g. twelve months]). If you want your message deleted sooner, tell us through the contact form and we will do it.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or with any third party for their own marketing. We only share information when the law requires us to, or when it is strictly necessary to run the services this policy describes (for example, our hosting provider stores the server that holds the messages you send us).
Your rights
Under PIPA BC and PIPEDA, you have the right to ask us:
- What personal information we hold about you
- Where we got it and how we are using it
- To correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- To delete information we no longer need

Complaints

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practice grows or as the law changes. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will change. If we make a material change, we will note it clearly on the page.
