Jeremy Nehme, Physiotherapist

Jeremy Nehme

Physiotherapist
Physiotherapy degree Exercise-based Strength-based Concussion and Vestibular Therapy

Dog dad to ‘One-Brain-Cell Roo.’ Avid hiker, sports enthusiast, and someone who’s always looking for the next challenge. Tea over coffee, and outdoors over indoors.

His goal of becoming a speedy marathon runner is currently on hold while he learns to mountain bike, climb, and tackle whatever new adventure catches his attention. He has a chronic habit of taking on DIY projects that probably should have been left to the professionals. If his white shirt is still white, it’s because he hasn’t worn it yet.

Jeremy takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing on movement, exercise, and overall health rather than simply treating symptoms. He believes in empowering people through education and active rehabilitation, using hands-on techniques to complement, not replace, an exercise-based approach.

Committed to lifelong learning, Jeremy regularly pursues continuing education to provide the highest standard of care. He has completed advanced training in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation and continues to expand his knowledge across a range of clinical areas.

Originally from Ottawa, Jeremy has called Vancouver Island home for three years now and has recently made the move from the Cowichan Valley to the Comox Valley.

Before becoming a physiotherapist, Jeremy worked as a fitness coach, an experience that shaped his ‘exercise and education first’ philosophy. He believes that movement is one of the most powerful tools we have to improve both our physical and mental well-being, and he works with every client to build the confidence, knowledge, and resiliency needed for long-term success.

Roo, clinic dog at Rogue Physical Therapy

Roo

Unofficial comfort officer · Resident professional lounger

Roo is Rogue Physical Therapy’s unofficial comfort officer and resident professional lounger. An Anatolian Shepherd–Husky mix with the energy level of a retired house cat. She’s happiest stretched out on the floor. She loves treats, affection, and the occasional greeting when she feels like getting up from the floor. A lovable goofball known as ‘One-Brain-Cell Roo,’ she brings plenty of calm personality to Rogue Physical Therapy.
